"Wow" how embarrasing for this place, such unorganized staff and not taking the steps to compensate the clients for their own establishment mistakes, sounds like a joke for sure. Do us all a favor and "CLOSE DOWN you idiots!" Was looking for a place to get some pampering that I need so bad and came across this, "YIKES".

If I could have rated this place with negative 10 stars I would!!! This has got to be one of the worst spas I've ever been to! When I made my appointment I was never asked what kind of skin service I would like to receive, which I thought was strange. Immediately after I made my appointment I called back to ask if they needed to know what kind of treatment I would like, the receptionist told me that I could just let them know when I showed up for my appointment and they would take care of me. I was so excited to be pampered when I went to my appointment only to have the esthetician tell me that I could not have the service I wanted because they needed to know ahead of time to prepare the products. She proceeded with a service that she felt I needed rather than the one I was interested in. This would have been fine if I wanted my face picked at and prodded, but instead I wanted something more relaxing and pampering. My needs were not met at all and I felt that this spa was not at all interested in my satisfaction. When I let the receptionist know of the situation she apologized and offered me 20% off of my visit. How sweet of her to offer me barely any compensation on a service that I hadn't even wanted in the first place. This place in an absolute joke and I would recommend visiting any of the other wonderful spas that San Diego has to offer over this place. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

I had hoped to get my makeup airbrushed for my upcoming wedding and was looking quite forward to it. The day of my trail makeup appointment I was never notified that my appointment had been canceled. Upon arriving I was told that they had been trying to notify me but had an incorrect name and number for me in their system. My contact information had been corrected and I was told that I would be contacted by Tuesday to reschedule my appointment. By saturday and I have still not been contacted. Apparently my business was not wanted, which surprises me especially in an industry that is luxury based. With the state of the economy this type of industry will be hardest hit with people giving up non-necessities such as the services the salon provides so you would think that Beauty Kliniek would act in a more professional manner.

Needless to say, with all the stress that comes along with a wedding, the last thing a bride wants to deal with is this type of drama with something that is supposed to be a way for the Bride to prepare in a fun way for the wedding.

Brides Beware!! I would suggest going to another salon!

I've been going to Beauty Kliniek for manicures & pedicures and haircuts/styling for about 3 years, and I never go anywhere else. The staff is all very friendly and courteous, the spa is gorgeous, and I've never been disappointed. I recommend this spa to anyone in the San Diego area who really wants to be pampered!

I had a really good experience at Beauty Kliniek recently. I purchased a custom package for my wife and myself while staying in La Jolla for business from LA. We both enjoyed the spa, staff was courteous, parking was easy, facilities were clean and we both thought the packages were a good value. My wife and myself spa about 3 times a year and this was one of the first times in recent memory we actually didn't have any reason to complain. I also got a really good haircut in a pinch - which is how I found the spa originally.
