Mechanics I can trust? Yes!
I was referred to Boulevard Auto by a friend. She did a little research before getting an oil change and passed her knowledge onto me. First up - you can download coupons from their website for a variety of services, which is key - saving money! When you arrive to their office building, they are very friendly, very helpful. They listen to what you have to say - making sure to ask the right questions - essential when it comes to having car work done. I hate when mechanics just rush through and you feel left out of the conversation!
My previous car was taken there and it needed a lot of work - so much work in fact that the guys were honest enough to tell me it wasn't worth me paying for it since my car wasn't even worth that much money! Again with the honesty - I like it. I've since brought my new car back for oil changes and brakes flushed, etc - the typical maintenance. My husband brought his car in for a lot of work done - shocks, brakes, etc. Each time we go in, they remember us, and each time we spend a lot of money (anytime over $100) they send us a thank you note in the mail, which usually contains some Boulevard Bucks (essentially gift certificates you can use for services in the future) and gift cards to Albertsons! When you get an oil change, they give you a free coffee coupon for a place down the street so you can wait while your car is worked on. They also sometimes include a free car wash from La Jolla Car Wash down the street - Score! I've referred friends and they send me thank you notes in the mail - again with some extras in there - and it's just nice to know this local mechanic cares so much for their customers.
