This venue in the Hillcrest area serves true New York style pizza, and if you are lucky you may get some of that "Bronx attitude" to top it off. It is an authentic experience that everyone should try at least once. Whether you order by the slice or purchase an entire pie, you will find it a treat.
Pros: The pizzas and calzones are reasonably priced and cooked to order quickly.
Cons: Where's the ricotta cheese in the calzone? Only ricotta makes the calzone truly authentic New York style.
Price Range: $10 - $25

One of the top NY style pizza places in San Diego County. It's tough to find good New York style pizza on the West Coast and Bronx is about as close as possible. If you moved from the East Coast and are having trouble finding pizza to your liking then this is the spot.
Pros: As close to NY style pizza as you'll find outside of New York.
Cons: They only deliver to the counter. The first time I called, I asked if they delivered and the guy said "Yeah, to the counter".<br /> I laughed as I drove to pick up my pizza.
Price Range: $5 - $10
