Really well done, very professional
I was lucky enough to have a tour with on of it's founders. My deceased cousin has a surf board there. I live 300 miles away, but I made it one of my places to not miss when I was down in San Diego. The museum is really professional. I learned so much about the history of surf boards. I took a ton of pictures. I told all my San Diego friends to check it out. And the staff was really nice too. You can go there several times a year, since the exhibits change. When I was there the traveling exhibit was the history of skate boards.. That display was really professional too. They also have Bethany Hamilton's board that was bitten by the shark there too, including the bathing suit she was wearing. I wish I lived closer, so I could attend some of the functions at their outside Tiki bar. I tried to upload a few photos, but it said they were too big:(
