Does your child need a haircut? Try Chole’s Carousel, owners Judy and Kevin Kreitzer have created a child-friendly environment with television screens at work areas, video PlayStations and places with dress up, games and other equipment. Children will see Chloe’s Carousel as a place to play and explore their surroundings. Thanks to Chloe’s my son doesn’t even mind going for a haircut he is more than happy to go hang out with Heather, his “hair girl” and check-out her new PlayStation games.
Pros: Fun for kids - very service oriented
Price Range: $10 - $25

<b> Overall:</b> For the most part I liked this place. This is great if you have a child with high anxiety when getting a haircut. The have a cool play area and also provide services for adults. They specialize in dealing with kids with sensory disorders or autism and spastic kids like mine. The trick is that they let them pick a movie, a toy or a sucker and distract them majorly while they are cutting there hair. So, the stylists are used to screaming and crying. Surprisingly my boy never flinched. I think they gave me to the new girl though b/c my son kinda looked like a dork when we left and I didn't say anything about it (my fault ). But it was still better than great clips. <br /><br /><b>Value:</b> It is worth the extra bucks to not make a scene.<br /><br /><b>Service:</b> Friendly and accomodating. I don't have a person to reccomend. I would call and ask for an experienced stylist.<br /><br /><b>Quality:</b> She messed up the top of his hair- cut it too short and he looks like Julius Ceasar- but the back is good<br />
Pros: Play area keeps the kiddies calm and the stylist are used to crying so nobody gets freaked out and you are not embarrassed
Cons: Get to know the stylist and find a good one.
Value: It is worth the extra bucks to not make a scene.
