Jammed In by Tammy J. at InsiderPages
Filippi's food is nothing spactacular, but works. I went with a group of people and it was busy. They jammed us into a corner and we were in the way of people walking by because they had to add extra chairs, so it was somewhat annoying. It probably would be an OK place to go when they're not so busy.

Bland by Charlie G. at InsiderPages
We went for dinner with a group of friends and none of us were very impressed. It was a busy Friday night so we made reservation ahead of time. The staff was friendly, our table was ready, and they didn't mind splitting up the checks. Our food was okay and I noticed lots of us using the salt/pepper and the hot peppers to add flavor to our cuisines. We definitely had enough to eat but I wouldn't recommend this specific Filippi's to anyone.

Best pizza in town
Best pizza in town: Not only the best pizza in town but this location shines over the original Filippi's in Little Italy. The menu is extensive but be sure and ask about special meals not listed on the menu - my favorite is the Cheese Tortallini.

The ambience is typical of any pizza grotto, plastic table covers vs. linens, bottles hanging from the ceiling, and red glass candles at each table. Still, it makes a nice place for an intimate dinner for two or a night out for the entire family.

The hostess is quick to seat you and the waitress is fast and attentive during the course of your meal. The wine list and dessert menu are ample and as usual, at Filippi's, the prices are all reasonable.
