this place is a little on the more expensive side, but you definitely get your money's worth! it's about $40 a haircut, but it includes a facial, massage, and nice relaxing herbal tea! the atmosphere is great, everyone is extremely nice and i always leave with a great new haircut!

Was here visiting and they were able to get me in the day I called. Wash and cut came with complimentary neck and shoulder rub and mini-facial (or makeup touch up) which were both great. Had Alli as a stylist as she was great, very nice, listened to what I wanted, and gave me a great cut. Absolutely loved my experience there, and when I got to the counter, was very surprised to hear him ask me for only $35!! Have been to places that were just as nice but cost so much more. Will definitely go there again if I am in San Diego. They the products she used on my hair at the counter for purchase, but because I was flying I didn't buy and no one pressured me to.

Gila Rut is a beautiful salon with an extensive list of services. The stylists and estheticians are well-trained and thorough, however, the salon is very expensive and they are very high pressure with product sales.
