Yum! I love Golden Spoon...and for those of you who are anti the Pinkberry fro-yo craze, try this place instead! Golden Spoon offers the classic frozen yogurt flavors, not just the new healthy tart stuff... Think chocolate, vanilla, coffee, berries, peanut butter, etc. But don't worry, a lot of it is still fat free and they have sugar free options available as well. Plus they have tons of toppings that they cake on for you - I always get the rainbow sprinkles.

I love Golden Spoon! They have many flavors to choose from and even more toppings, including cereal and candy. I tried the strawberry with Cap N' Crunch cereal with fresh strawberries and it was delicious. The staff is nice and it was cheap, under $4. This place definitely gets packed during the summer days and the long lines are sometimes not even worth the wait. They do give out free samples which makes the choosing process easier. They don't weigh your yogurt + toppings like most places do so the price is a flat rate. The best part is that they actually serve you with a golden spoon.

People always tell me how much they love frozen yogurt and I just do not understand. Every time I go to golden spoon all I ever want is some real ice cream. I guess golden Spoon was alright though. I think I like the self service frozen yogurt places more but being served is nice sometimes. The prices are pretty good and they have many topping choices. I guess I would go back to golden spoon if some girl dragged me there, it always seems like girls want frozen yogurt cause they want to try and be healthy and still eat a sweet dessert..

Golden Spoon has the BEST frozen yogurt! Whenever my kids ask for frozen yogurt, this is where we go. We visit the location in Hillcrest, which is in the same shopping center as Starbucks, Lalo's, Blockbuster, etc., on University Avenue. We usually go in the late afternoon during the week and there is always parking. The parking lot is much more crowded in the evenings and on the weekends though. Their flavors are awesome, especially the Mango Tart, Peanut Butter Cup and all of their chocolate flavors! My kids like the plain vanilla, which is super yummy as well.

They have many different sizes to choose from depending on how hungry you are. I like being able to choose the mini size (4 oz) for my kids (because that is all they really need) and then I get the small (8 oz) for myself. Prices are very reasonable, I think we only pay about $5-7 dollars for two minis (one with a topping) and my small size. They also have a ton of fun toppings to choose from, everything from chocolate chips to gummy bears to fruit, nuts, and almost every candy you can imagine.

When we go to Golden Spoon, we never have to wait more than a few minutes to be served. The people working there are efficient but not usually very friendly. Most of the time, there is a free table to sit at and there are also a few places to sit right outside as well. You can easily get your yogurt to-go if you want to as well!
