“Calgon, take me away!” This is the place to go if you need a mini-vacation from stress, but aren’t interested in the high prices of the up-scale day spas. Martina’s facilities, while modest, are comfortable and tranquil; but her biggest gift is her expertise in a variety of methodologies, including Swedish massage, Asian techniques, acupressure, reflexology and energy work. I was privileged to receive a complimentary hand massage while I was there, and within just a few seconds, Martina was able to identify areas of tension in my hands and forearms caused by frequent computer use. From my short experience, I can tell that Martina’s massages are not only a vacation from stress, but are healing for body and spirit.
