View of the ocean, very sophisticated feel and delicious food! I sat at the bar and had a couple martinis and the T23 burger - best burger I've had in a loooong time! (and the most affordable on the menu at $11). This place can be pricey but it's really nice and you're paying for the ambiance!<br />

The decor is very modern and chic but my one complaint is that they put looks over comfort. The bar stools were the most uncomfortable things I have ever sat on!<br />

The bartender was pleasant, they had an okay happy hour but it's definitely the location (pretty much right on the beach) that draws the crowd!

JRDN is an awesome place to go, spend time and not be hurried. The other two reviews I have read seemed as if these people wanted to have a quick bite. This is not the vibe of JRDN at Tower 23. When you go there they want you to enjoy your food, spend some time, and have fun. The dining menu is not expensive but not cheap, and if i were going to spend a lot of money there i would not like to be hurried. This is not your typical Pacific Beach bar and restaurant - think about it as almost downtown or La Jolla in Pacific Beach.

very nice, new (1 year old) chic hotel directly on the beach.
get a room with direct seaview and just enjoy. very friendly and helpful staff.
by far the best hotel so far in PB, maybe in all of SD
good for a romatic weekend or just to chill and watch the surfers from your balcony.
