I actually think that Lenscrafters is difficult to work with in that they aren't the most responsive to a customer's needs. They are good at placing the orders, but not good at following up. I have been waiting for my glasses for 3 weeks now, and no one told me why they were late. Instead, I kept on heckling the store.
After spending more than $500 on glasses and contacts, you would think that they could provide good service. Sadly, they do not.
