I never thought I would say I love my dentist's office, but, since finding Dr. McClanahan it's the truth! He caters especially to people like me, who are (or were!) terrified of the dentist. I had not been to the dentist in years because of prior bad experiences but that was no problem for Dr. McClanahan. They offer safe sedation for any procedure, and they go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable while you are in their care. It's a small office and they remember you by name when you visit, rather than one of those mega-medical/dental buildings where you are just a number and a file. When you are having dental work done, you get a tinted visor to wear so you don't have the glare of the white lights in your eyes, and you get a headset to listen to your choice of music. If you're cold or just want one, they'll give you a blanket. They focus on whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I recommend this office to everyone!

Pros: High tech dental equipment (no drills for cavities!) and imaging, nitrous and pill sedation available, super warm, friendly and caring staff, payment plans available, easy to get to and centrally located.<br /> <br /> I liked that after having work done, Dr. McClahan gave me his cell # and actually called me himself to make sure I was doing ok. <br /> <br /> And, I used to be terrified of having my teeth cleaned (esp. the deep scale treatments) but their hygienist Bobbi erased all of those fears and I now look forward to my regular cleanings! <br /> <br /> This office is amazing.

Cons: The only con I can think of regarding this office is their small parking lot. But, there's lots of street parking around so it really is not an issue.
