Offshore Tavern & Grill is located off Morena in the Bay Park area of San Diego. It's located just a few minutes off the 5 at Clairemont exit and has a small parking lot but you can find parking in the nearby residential streets. <br />

Inside, the place is pretty big and pretty nice. It was newer looking (maybe recently renovated), their bathroom was clean and our server was very nice. We sat in the covered patio area and watched the Charger game on one of their many flatscreens that are posted throughout the venue.<br />

It's part of the same restaurant group as the Tavern in PB and it has a similar feel. Offshore Tavern is pretty roomy, lots of seating and all in all a great time. The food was also pretty good, had the chicken quesadilla and buffalo chicken fingers and their happy hour is awesome - all day Mondays!<br />

I went to the Offshore Tavern for a last minute San Diego Beer Club meetup. The place looks very spacious, we were in the patio area which was enclosed since it was cold and the heater lamps were turned on, it was very comfortable.

The service was great, they didn't have the beer I wanted but the server recommended something else which hit the spot. The food came quickly and it was pretty good. The best part of the evening was watching all the 80's videos on the TV screens...it took us all back through memory lane.

The only thing about the Offshore Tavern is that it's kinda hidden away, small parking so I had to park quite far on the residential area and got lost trying to get back in the 5. But now that I know where it is, I'm sure to go back.

We've got a 3 yr old and we have enjoyed Offshore with and without him :-) We go early in the evening when it is less bar and more neighborhood restaurant. Quality waitstaff, good solid food, great TV's and a few video games make this a fun spot for all. If I had one gripe, it would be that like many bar/restaurants in San Diego, they put ashtrays just outside the front door which means that if you want to go in or out you have to walk through a cloud of smoke. Take care of this and I think I could give another star!

This is not your typical bar. The food is amazing. Definitely higher end food from any establishment in San Diego. I strongly recommend it.

Absolutely outstanding service and menu options. Where else can you find Wild Alaskan Sockeye at a sports bar?!! This place has much to offer in regards to quality sustainable seafood, local micro brews, and service.
