having to say good-bye
P.C. had been a part of our family since day one. She was a twin to her mother, Katie, spots, and all. She was like a small compact Hotrod, full of Nitro. She was with us 16 years. When the time came to say good-bye, Dr Nagell, and his staff made an extremely difficult task, much easier. They even had flowers for her. :) PC was always nervous at the Vet, but that day, I knew she felt the love, and compassion there for her. That day, there was no showing teeth, no nervous shaking, just a calm peace. As Dr. Nagell, and his technician held her leg, P.C. looked at me, gave a couple little kisses, and quietly drifted away. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to have this clinic in my neighborhood. This is a clinic you go out of your way to take your pet to. There is a positive up-lifting feeling you get when you walk in the door, like a small town. I hope everyone who reads this has a chance to visit Northpark Pacific Vet Clinic. Thank you, G. Southgate

for vaccines yes--anything else go some place else
for a year, i've been telling them my pet is heavy breathing, "getting old" "associated with hip pain" she's a large breed. for a year i mentioned her lumps "they're normal" "skin tags". her breathing go really bad, they sill said its due to hip pain, i took her to the ER the same day. She has CANCER so bad that she will not live. they had no clue. maybe if they had a clue on previous visits we would have some hope.

Dr. Nagell and Staff Saved my Pug's Life
We have been going to Dr. Nagell since 1997. My pug Elvis became extemely ill in early march, 2007. He ate the tainted pet food, Nutro packets. At the time we had no idea about the food recall. Elvis went into kidney failure, then multiple organ failure. Dr. Nagell performed a miracle - he saved elvis' life by administering IVs for 2 weeks, sub q fluids for a week, antibiotics, etc. Elvis was not expected to live. Dr. Nagell monitored him daily - the care he got from Dr. Todd, Nina and the entire staff was wonderful. He is now being treated by Dr. Nagell for spinal arthritis..Dr. Nagell is a phenomenal vet. I highly recommend Dr. Nagell and his staff. I would also like to add that he treated my mini schnauzer, who had cancer, with surgery - Boris is now 100% fine. This was not an easy surgery because of the location of the tumor. He did an excellent job with Boris, too.
