Great staff and wonderful cuts! by candice d. at InsiderPages
I showed up as a walk-in on my first visit. I only waited 15 minutes. Dore cut my hair and did a wonderful job! She had much to share as far as coloring and styles. I had ideas and she told me what she thought would be a safe choice. *I was in the Navy and had to be careful with styles and coloring.
I was a regular afer that! She cut both my hair and my daughters for the next year before I moved. The staff was great. Appointments were never hard to get. Best hair styles I EVER had! Funky and fresh!
PROS: Talented staff abd good location
CONS: Finding a parking spot near by is nearly impossible

I don't think you actually need an appointment for this place. But they ask you anyways.<br /> <br /> I'm not very comfortable being at a salon and so when I saw the familiar barber pole out front, I smiled a bit. <br /> <br /> Unfortunately, I told the guy who did my hair that I just wanted a hair cut. Maybe they consider themselves artistes. I don't know. <br /> <br /> But he wasn't engaging. He just went about buzzing my head after I gave him the numbers my old fabulous lesbian barber in Lemon Grove had given to me. But she got bought out. <br /> <br /> The haircut wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst I'd ever had (my own bad luck, probably). I don't think I'll go there again, but then again, there aren't many barber shops in this city.
