I LOVE this place!!
I LOVE this place!! Technically it's called churrasco, which is pretty much a traditional Brazilian BBQ Feast - and you won't eat for a week afterwards!

They have servers that come around to your table with different meats on a skewer which are sliced tableside - green means go and red when you've hit your limit and need to stop. And all the meats are delicious!! They are well seasoned, marinated, cooked - everything is awesome!!

And for the non meat eaters of the bunch, there is a huge salad buffet area with all kinds of different vegetables, salads, sides, etc. They also serve fresh caipirinhas that are delicious.

The venue is also very cool and has a great vibe. All in all an awesome place - you have to try it!!
Pros: The food is delicious!!!
Cons: Parking is difficult in the Gaslamp, but they have valet!

A meat lovers dream.
"Can you just leave the entire spit rod here? I'm just gonna eat it all. I'd appreciate it."

After eating here, I felt ashamed of myself, did I just eat an entire animal? Is PETA waiting outside to clobber me with a mallet for eating so much meat? Perhaps, I should become a vegetarian for awhile, that's the fad right? All valid questions, no?

So thanks to my friend Maria C. for bringing me here for lunch. $16.50 for an all-you-can-eat steak/salad bar (not including dessert)... how can one decline that offer?! So for lunch, its 9 out of 16 meats for you to try.

There is a marker in which you flip over when you want meat service (green) and when you are done (red).

After sampling all of them, (and quite a lot of it!!!), i've come to determine that my favorite was bacon-wrapped filet mignon... I mean I basically asked for the entire rod! It was so moist and delicious that the saltiness from the bacon won me over. And while I enjoyed the others (pork, cheesy chicken, tri-tip, tenderloin), I just couldnt get over the tenderness and my affinity for bacon with steak.

I avoided the salad bar because had I wanted to eat salad, I would've went to Souplantation! But don't get me wrong, their selection could definitely win me on its own-from the grilled eggplant to the assorted selection of salumi to the warm Brazilian Dishes.

Overall, I was satisfied. I felt like Sarah Palin after an interview with Katie Couric. Glad it was over. Don't cha know?

Meat eaters heaven
Definitely a meat loves heaven, the amount of meat I ate in that meal was probably more than I normally have in a few weeks time..no joke it was soo good that it got hard to turn down as they kept bringing by different kinds. Dont even get me started on the salad/side bar. I was overwhelmed to be honest by the selection and everything looked so good. If you are like me and like to try a little bit of everything, especially if its new to you, then please go hungry and dont plan on eating for a while after! Everything was very fresh and tasty I loved trying the new side dishes! The meat itself was very, very good. I appreciated how they brought around several different types so if you know what you want you can focus on that kind and forget about the rest, or if your like me you can try it all and decide whats the best! My only complaint is that its quite pricey..but I suppose that is because you are eating expensive, quality food.

Highly suggested!
Been there several times and can't get enough of it.

Waiters basically walk around with skewers of meat that they cut to you at your table. There are several options of beef, pork and chicken. My favorite was he top sirloin cap, a must have!

I would highly recommend going there during lunch special hours. There are less choices of meats but it is the same concept. Dinner is overpriced.

Great food, meat eaters paradise!
