best place to sell gold silver and jewelry
I was looking to sell a variety of silver and gold jewelry as well as a couple of watches. I started looking for prices over the phone on Thursday night. Most of the places I called wouldn't give me a price over the phone...that is, until I called San Diego Jewelry Buyers. A nice man named Robin answered the phone and explained to me the process very carefully and was able to give me a lot of information. He gave me a quote that was a lot higher than the competition. I wouldn't be able to make it until Saturday and was relieved to find that they were open on Saturday unlike mot other places. I made an appointment for 10:30 a.m. and he gave me great directions and reserved free parking for me.
When I arrived, Matt and Todd, the jewelry buyers, sorted and tested all the items I had. Then they gave me a price and educated me on how they came to that price. They even paid for the diamonds in my rings when most companies said that none would.
They gave me a price on all the items I bought: two gold rings with diamonds, two watches, some silver jewelry, and some broken chains and jewelry that my grandmother left my sister.
I was pleasantly surprised at the final price...it was much more than I expected. And they paid me in cash! I will definitely be back!
If anyone is looking to sell their jewelry, they should definitely consider this place.

San Diego Jewelry Buyers earns itself a ten out of ten in my book, and in anyones who has had a taste of their expertise and professionalism. their wasn't one second i spent their that i didn't feel that everyone their was an expert in their field, be that gold, silver, diamonds, or handbags. i really got the most for my gold their, no other place offered me more

Had several pieces of jewelry laying around that hasn't been worn in years so after doing a LOT of checking on the internet, decited to check them out. Carl and his staff were very friendly and helpful. Carl answered all questions even though I knew most of the answers. :) Did all test in front of me and when I walked out approx 45 minutes later, I received more cash then I expected. I think I received a very fair price according to what I learned on the net. Give them a try, you won't be sorry.
Carl, will think about bring that other item down to you if I decide I want to sell it.
Now if I can keep my wife from taking the money and spending it on a cruise. :)

Highly Recommend, after searching on line I came across the reviews for San Diego Jewelry Buyers, I decided to give them a try so I called and scheduled an appointment. This was the first time I have ever sold any of my gold jewelry so I was a bit nervous since I have heard of all the scams out there. What a relief when we met with Carl and his staff. Carl is very personable, friendly and professional. He answered all of our questions without hesitation. I thought he was very straightforward and knowledgeable. He will weigh your items in front of you and for the items that he cannot read the stamp on he will test them. He even explained the testing process to us. He was very upfront and explained the steps he uses to calculate the prices he pays. Wow what a surprise, I thought I was going to get a lot less then what he actually paid. I definitely walked away feeling like I had been treated very fairly. If I decide to sell any more of my jewelry I will definitely go back and I will be telling all of my friends and family about SDJB.

My experience with SDJB (Carl & his staff) was excellent. A number of things impressed me, including my initial call to his store. The staff was informative and patient while I asked all of my questions. They helped me park using the valet service and escorted me to the store. And of course the best part was the very fair prices that Carl gave me for my jewelry. He took the time to explain the process to me and what aspects were considered in the amount I would get for my unwanted jewelry. Really super experience. This is the place to go !!
