Love it, great value for San Diego residents
A day pass is so expensive that the annual pass is the only way to go. I'm grateful for the option and we do use it a ton since we live 10 minutes away and I can even see the fireworks from my house.

I avoid weekends and get there first thing in the morning on weekdays. I never typically have trouble parking though you can pay an extra $5 or something for preferred parking. I've never had to do that.

I've been to Sea World Orlando and ours is better, not that I'm biased or anything. Ours is more spread out, newer feeling and less hectic. Our kids area (Sesame Street town) is just awesome. My 3 year old could stay there all day. We go with friends and the moms can pretty much sit around and talk while the kids run around (supervised of course). It's pleasant.

Unlike some other parks around here, they do actually serve beer. Helpful, at times.

Sea World Adventures
Sea World is pricey, however there are many deals out there for discounts, especially on the annual passes. I do wish they had a family pass or some other way to get more value out of the price of the passes. Currently we have a membership pass for each of our four family members, that is not cheap.

HOWEVER, my four year old twins LOVE going to Sea World. The love walking around and looking at all of the sea life, watching the shows and playing in the Bay of Play.

Because this is such a major attraction, we try to only go on week days, when the park first opens. I wish they opened at 9 all year long, since a 10 am start time, with an 11 am Bay of Play opening doesn't always work well with lunch and naps.

Seaworld!!!
Seaworld, the best place to see different types of aquatic animals from penguins, sharks, and of course shamu. I am a native of San Diego, so I have gone here so many times, too many too count, but it is super fun!!!Also, the rides there are awesome as well. I recommend Atlantis ride, it is so fun!!!But yeah on top of that the shows are fun to watch as well. There so many places to go and see. You can go see different shows, but my favorite would have to be the shamu show. If you sent in the front rows, your definitely get splashed. Trust me, it happened to me so many times. But, if your looking for a place to take family and friends you should definitely go here, it's great, I recommend it.

A San Diego Classic
Sea World San Diego is one of the most popular attractions in San Diego. It has been here since the 1960s, and is world famous for being the home of Shamu, the killer whale. Actually there have been a bunch of different Shamus, but that is just a technicality. Our four year old boys love to visit this park, and especially like the polar bear exhibit, the Shamu show, and the new dolphin show. One thing to be aware of with the Shamu show is you can get very wet. The seats are painted a different color down low, so you should know what you are getting yourself into. One slight downer is that the Clydesdale horses are now gone since Anheuser Busch does not own the park any more.
