Learning scuba from Sport Chalet is like learning about cars from a car salesman. It's mostly sales pitch and you have to filter it to do any learning. The PADI acronym comes to mind Pay And Dive In. My class was only 3 hours two times a week and 90 minutes was spent on the sales floor listening to a sales pitch.
