Great Happy Hour, Especially The Burger
My wife and I and our young daughter have gone here repeatedly during their Happy Hour, which runs 4-7 PM every day (except Monday when it's all night apparently).
They have a wagyu burger on the Happy Hour menu that is, if memory serves, like $8. It may be one of the best hamburgers I've ever had anywhere at any price. We also really like the mongolian flat bread. And I like the fried artichoke, too. They also have a kids' menu for my daughter. And they always give her crayons and a little placemat/activity page, which is very thoughtful and not common, in my experience, at more upscale restaurants like this one.
Several of their Happy Hour drink specials are also really good, especially certain specified mixed drinks (including margaritas and cosmos). But the discounts on wine and beer are less pace-quickening.
Other people have posted here about the spectacular view. It is great in the restaurant proper, but from the patio (where most people sit for Happy Hour) the view is more limited. You have to walk over to the railing to really see the ocean. But that's fine. We live here, so I'm not there for the view.
If I were to find any fault with Azul's happy hour, it would be that the service tends to be a little spotty, even when the place is almost empty. Also, since the restaurant is located right on Prospect, parking can be a headache. We frequently valet park when we go there, but that undercuts the Happy Hour bargain a little, obviously.
