I went to The Tractor Room as part of a Meetup brunch, it was my first time there and I was impressed with it. It was very crowded since it was Sunday, but we were seated at our reserved time in a very comfortable area outside with a heat lamp keeping us warm.

The waiting area has picnic tables, complimentary water and coffee and even a ping pong table, makes the wait go by a lot faster.

The menu is definitely for meat lovers with elk, boar and buffalo among the choices. It was difficult to choose, since the also have flapjacks and french toast for those wanting something sweet instead of savory. The portions are huge, depending on how much you eat, each plate can be the equivalent of 2 or 3 meals, so be prepared to take a lot of food home.

They do give you as many boxes as you need to take your food, and you can also ask for a paper bag to take all your boxes.

Parking will be a challenge so be prepared, with some luck you'll find parking, otherwise you might need to get in pay parking lots.

The food was very good and the drinks looked great. If you have claustrophobic tendencies avoid being seated inside, it's very crowded and dark. Great place for brunch!

This place is awesome! Knowing that they are the same owners as Hash House a gogo I can see the similarities. It's a great place to come and have a well made bloody mary and eat some corn bread after a long night of partying. The dark almost hunting cabin chic with its overstuffed mahogany seating and dark wooden interior this place has an awesome vibe. During the week they have a decent happy hour and an interesting crowd that always invites an interesting evening to unravel. Located in hillcrest it's just a short walk to other bars as you find it's time to move on! The ambiance is inviting and the people are interesting!

Parking around 9a could be a bit difficult in the area. You may have to park a couple blocks down, but at least it's FREE!

I was concerned that we were going to have to wait long since we arrived later than expected. The brunch rush was already in effect. We had a nice patio table with great views for people watching. Note: Your entire party needs to be present before they consider leading you to a table.

Ordered coffees, and I opted for the In "Good Health" Scramble (soft) with avo and cornbread ($15).

Firstly, portions are super generous. The cornbread alone could prob feed a family. I took one bite and took the remainder to go.

My scramble was good. Supposed to contain turkey sausage, but I didn't think mine had any - I didn't see nor did I taste any as I ate my scramble.

Breakfast potatoes and fruit were given as a side. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of breakfast potatoes and I asked if they had hash browns. DENIED... I was stuck with the potatoes...

I asked about the fruit and our server said that the entrees comes with a cantaloupe and a strawberry. I declined the cantaloupe, hoping I would at least get another strawberry. DENIED AGAIN... I literally got 1 large strawberry...

Overall, service was great and portions were out of control. You're better of sharing despite the split charge.

The Tractor Room brings robust portions of game meats and breakfast classics to patrons cozying up along the black bar or outside the elevated patio. This Hash House spin-off fails to deliver the quality food one would expect. While Hash House is often busy for breakfast, the dinner there is often overlooked and fantastic. For a place that prides itself on meat, my steak was not well charred, still somehow overcooked. The sides and salads were all very good, as was the burger a friend ordered. I'd certainly be willing to give them another try, but maybe with some direction when ordering, the wait-staff seemed a little under-prepared.

If you want something memorable this is a good restaurant to go to.
