<b> Overall:</b> some of the best pizza i have eaten in san diego, and in a while. <br /><br /><b>Value:</b> very different from bronx pizza. woodstock is less greasy, and has thicker toppings, but not as much pure greasy taste as bronx<br /><br /><b>Service:</b> either way, this place is worth the drive to the college area to try it. the facility is very clean, very comfortable. the service was adequate, nothing special, but not bad. i do enjoy bottomless drinks<br /><br /><b>Quality:</b> and i really enjoy the quick service despite being very busy while i was there. definitely try the wheat crust. it feels healthier. <br />
Pros: great taste, and large portions
Cons: could be more helpful on the customer service

Woodstock Pizza is one of those places that seems suited specificially to the college crowd not far away. The setting is really kitschy and proud to be itself. It screams fun pizza and beer night. And that's exactly what you get.<br /> <br /> I went on a Sunday afternoon with my dad when we were living the area. As far as weekly traditions go, it's a really fun one and a great way to try a restaurant when it's not too busy.<br /> <br /> The folks at Woodstock Pizza are friendly without being pushy and understand the intimidation level of deciding which of their pizzas to try.<br /> <br /> Everything in the place seems appetizing (including the pinball machine-which I love) and the service is relatively speedy for a freshly made pizza.<br /> <br /> I recommend any of their pizza on their wheat crust (which tastes just like any other crust on a pizza but is a bit healthier). I had the all meat and next time we want to try the barbecue chicken.<br /> <br /> Looking for a place for family and friends? This one is it. You'll probably even leave with a slice or two as they roll you out the door.
Pros: selection, service, atmosphere
Cons: too busy on Friday nights?
Price Range: $10 - $25
Recommended: Yes
