My Go-To Sushi Place
Harney is delicious! Located in Old Town, you will find a hip atmosphere here, with dj's on the weekend. I recommend sitting at the sushi bar if you can. You can ask questions and customize your rolls however you want, while also ensuring that the waitress doesn't mess up your custom order. Also take note that they have specialty "cocktails" but they are made with sake and such, not hard alcohol.
The Orange Crush Roll is great and you MUST save room and order the Tatter Todds as your last roll. It is so yummy that you have to wait to have it as your last roll.
Pricing isn't outrageous, it is on the higher side, but in my opinion, well worth it.

Fantastic Find in Encinitas
This place is GREAT! Its a tiny place that you wouldn't know about unless someone told you. It is in the same lot as Sunshine Gardens over by Quail Gardens for those that know the area.
They have delicious cupcakes (regular size and mini) in flavors that aren't typical with real fruit garnish's on top. They also have a variety of mini bite size deserts that are great when you can't decide what you want or are trying to feed a group of people. My favorite is the chocolate dipped cheesecake bites. We get about 20 mini deserts for the office when we have birthdays and they are always a crowd pleaser, because people can choose what they want.
Every time I need a dessert with a quickness I know I can go to the Elizabethan and be perfectly satisfied with my yummy purchase.

HORRIBLE!!!
Don't bother living here!! The management is horrible, the people who work there are never in the office and never answer the phone if there is a problem. They charged my husband an extra months of rent and we are still trying to figure it out and it has been 3 weeks and we haven't been able to get in contact with any because they never answer their phones!!!!!! Also if your a young couple who like to have friends over, forget about it! We had a noise complaint at 9:30pm & 10:30pm for our tv being to loud, and another one for walking to loud at night. RIDICULOUS!!!!!! I hated this place so much, so not worth your time or your money. Just all together a horrible horrible place!!!!!

Dishonest
I went to Dr. Fellars as a new patient. I wanted to get a teeth cleaning. They had me make an appointment for xrays and exam only, first. I went in for the initial exam and was impressed with the quality of care and personnel. Next visit was for teeth cleaning, which was to be at no charge. They cleaned my teeth and did a fluoride treatment, without asking me if I wanted the extra procedure (fluoride). When I checked out, they charged me for an exam and the fluoride treatment, both of which I questioned since I only went in for the "no cost" cleaning. They said that is how they do their business. I filed a complaint with my insurance company stating that they performed extra services and charged me for them without first asking if I consented. The insurance company called them and found out that the "exam" they charged me for wasn't even performed. As far as the fluoride treatment, it may be a good idea, but my problem is the integrity of the dental practice to perform extra procedures without prior consent. After filing my complaint, I noticed that the dental office refunded my total fee on my credit card, and promptly sent me a notice that they were dumping me as a patient. Gee, I guess they didn't like me challenging their unethical practices.

Restauran is filthy all over. Food quality is terrible. The steak was spoil smelly, The hashbrown were the worse anywhere. I did not eat them. The cook was cashiering, handling money.

quality care with no sales pitch
I left my old dentist after a $30,000 "treatment plan" that they outlined for me didn't even address the toothache I had come in for. Dr. Fleming is an old school dentist who takes care of teeth- not a beautician who only wants to sell pretty teeth.

A new beginning
I would like to share my experience I had with my personal bankruptcy. I was experiencing a heavy barrage of harassing phone calls and letters. I didn’t know what to do. I also had fears of being labeled as a failure in society. I finally got up the nerve to call an attorney. I called many different attorneys through many different avenues. I received a few responses; but when Kathryn responded she was different and to the point and was adamant to help me when I didn’t want to help myself. She continually explained all the way through the process. While being extremely reasonable with her scheduling and fees.
I can say today that my life has turned around all for the better and I owe it all to Kathryn’s patience and understanding of the bankruptcy laws. Considering the severity of my situation; the process was smooth and extremely quick. It was over and done with before I realized. I would strongly recommend her services and consultations – it’s never too late to get a fresh start. I can’t thank her enough but, I will try.

Great for fidgety kids
My daughter has loved getting her hair cut ever since the first time I took her to Little Locks. She picks out if she wants to sit in a rocketship, car, etc. and the nice lady cuts her hair. There are books and DVDs to watch on personal flat screen TVs. The hair cuts are also pretty quick, which I appreciate.
It's probably the nature of kids haircuts but every once in a while I'll have to trim a little bit at home due to a missed spot. As of this writing they are $18.
I have also purchased kid presents in the toys store area. They have some unique stuff.

San Diego Roller Coaster & Amusement Park
This is the only real roller coaster and amusement park in San Diego. The roller coaster is awesome. One of the oldest wooden roller coasters in the state if not the entire country. It is fast and fun with some surprise turns. i've ridden it dozens of times and always have a blast on it. In addition to the roller coaster there are other fun rides like bumper cars, a mirror maze, carnival type games and more. The nearby wavehouse has a man made barreling big wave and a more mellow wave that can be ridden. There is also a huge pool open to the public for fun and lap swimming. The beach is just steps away and nothing is more fun then dipping your head into the ocean, boogey boarding, swimming and surfing. Plenty of places to rent gear from. If you are in the San Diego Area be sure to check it out! www.belmontpark.com
