One of my all time favorite restaurants. There is nothing like it. Step inside into a interdimensional door to New Orleans. From the decor and music to the selection of cajun food and deep south beers. They sometimes have a jazz player strumming the guitar. The service is amazing. If you want points for a date night, take your date here. You won't regret it. Make reservations...

Very dissapointed
I had just gotten back from NOLA and was excited about eating some traditional New Orleans food. Although a couple friends told me not to go I thought I would give the restaurant a shot. Food was not good, everything was way overpriced and I def will never eat here again. The only good thing about the restaurant was the live jazz music
I recently moved to San Diego from San Francisco and was unsure of where to find a good sushi spot. I found Ono Sushi and absolutely love it! I highly recommend this place.... the food was fresh and resonable priced, the bar serves an array of martinis and their Flirtini is to die for and the lighting is perfect. I hate and avoid restaurants with bad lighting.... this is a great spot!
Overall: Firehouse is a great place to spend a Friday evening. The rooftop bar is super fun...but be warned it can get crowded. The only drawback is that sometimes, you'll have to wait in line to get into Firehouse and then wait in another line to get up to the rooftop.

On the rooftop, they have lounge chairs set up along with tables and umbrellas and have a full...
I had a few family memebers and co workers tell me about this sushi spot. But they all called it hip hop sushi because they play music in there pretty loud which was fine and enjoyable for me but i could see how if you were tryin to hold a ...

So Disappointing....
So after reading all the "great" reviews for Tokyo Sushi, I decided that since my fav sushi place in the SDSU area, Oshi, was closed, I would go try it. I have never been more disappointed with a food place-ever. The prices were horrible ...
The food was too greasy and had too much sauce in all dishes from salad to main dish. My husband and I ordered some appetizers, a salad, a pasta and an entree. ...
For breakfast in PB everyone always automatically thinks Broken Yolk, but I love the Eggery! They have a huge menu of breakfast with some lunch items sprinkled in, but no matter what you get, I strongly recommend their bacon - it's the BEST! I know it doesn't sound like a very big deal, but it's super crispy and delicious! None of that gross half-cooked chewy stuff you sometimes find at...
Baci is an amazing restaurant. The staff is incredibly friendly, Italian, heavily accented, dressed in tuxcedos and more than willing to take as much time as needed to give you a great dining experience. The decor is nice, classy in an old school way and there is plenty of seating. The vibe is mellow and happy, far from stuffy. The food is amazing. Maybe the best Italian I've had in San Diego....
This used to be downtown's hidden gem. Now Basic is all the rage but, it still does what it intended to do right- be a great bar where people can eat, drink and be merry. The bartenders make you feel like family so you never want to go anywhere else.

Bad bad bad bad bad service, good pizza
I like the pizza at Basic, but the service is horrible. The girls that work there look miserable! No smiles, not friendly, and slow. I would only go back for the yummy pizza.
This is some of the best Thai food I think I've ever had. The set up is awesome, and the service is hands down some of the best in San Diego. You truly feel taken care of when you ...

overrated
I've lived in Thailand off and on for 12 years; my wife is Thai. This place is decent, but definitely not among the greats. If you like Americanized Thai food then this is the place ...
I've been going to the French Gourmet for a long time and the service and food are always excellent. It's one of the few places at the beach where you can have a quiet conversation- the breakfasts are great too. ...

I would never buy anything from here again!!!!! My daughter
I would never buy anything from here again!!!!! My daughter bought her wedding cake from here after we tasted lots of samples at a bridal fair; we chose the french gourmet because their cake sample was very good. The actual wedding cake was okay, but not as I remembered it at the sampling. But when my daughter ordered her wedding cake, they offered her a 'COMPLIMENTARY anniversary cake' on...
If you've never experienced dim sum, this is the place to try it in San Diego. Jasmine is probably the only choice in San Diego that is of the same caliber of some of the top dim sum restaurants found in San Francisco or LA.

Remember when going for dim sum anywhere, go early as the lunch crowd (I've only gone on the weekend) will grow quickly after noon. Think of it as a...

Greasy Food!
I got sick when I ate here. First of all, their food is really greasy. Even the vegetables can give you a stomach ache. Secondly, I might just be picky about my seafood, ...
best buffet in Kearny Mesa! by gary s. at InsiderPages
If you want something fast, quick, fair in price...try this place! Nice people, clean, make sure to try some of their specialty's!!! Lunch or dinner you can't go wrong!
I went there for all-you-can-eat wings night (which is on Tuesdays) and it was a blast. The service was fabulous and the people were super nice. I wasn't too impressed with the wings (even though I ate a lot . . . ), but the curly fries that came with it were great. Be aware, though, that they charge you $0.86 for each dressing. So if you specifically say "No dressing please," they will...
Bangkok Thai has some of the best Thai food in San Diego. It's very authentic, rich and affordable. The spring rolls seem to be a bit fresher here and I love thier golden triangles. I've only had their Tom Yum soup. It is so good I don't want to bother trying anything else. Siam Beef Salad is really good and enough to be a meal within itself. If you are vegetarian I highly recommend the...
