Submarina on Mission Gorge and Friars Rd, has to be the best one that I have gone to. They are very friendly. Right when you walk in the door they are greeting you will a smile on their faces. Everytime I would get the same sub because they made it so well. The prices are not that bad.
This place serves the best subs in San Diego. I'm a picky East Coaster who misses the great sub shops found on every corner. EZ J's is pretty darn close to what I grew up enjoying. The honey mustard chicken sandwhich is my favorite. It's a small place in PB, so don't expect fine dining.

This deli has the best philly cheesesteaks. Whenever my son has a craving, which is often, we give them a call (they are on my speed dial!), they are quick and very easy to get to. We have had other sandwiches there and they have all been good. Also they have great garlic fries.

This subway has hard working employees. It's a very busy store, but they don't waste a second on idle chit chat with friends to get your food out fast. Unlike some other subways, the food is always fresh.
The sandwiches here are great and way better than Subway or Quiznos down the street from here. The ingredients are really fresh & they slice the meat right when you order. The footlongs here are under 5 bucks, which is a stellar deal. The owners are really nice here & the sandwiches are a lot larger than most places.
Im a huge fan of Vietnamese sandos and Cali Baguette does it right. This place has great sandwiches and the prices are very reasonable. The bread and the meat is all fresh and i would recommend the chicken. The only bad part is the small parking lot and it is not open on mondays. But other than that i would recommend this place to anybody that likes sandwiches.
