I recently moved to the area, and came across the Pet hosp because it was so close. I have to older cats both require attention to detail and lots of love. I have never met friendlier people that care about the truly care about the difference they make.

We decided to visit The Pet Hospital of Tierasanata after searching via the internet and reading reviews... thus it is absolutely necessary to explain why I would not recommend ...
I agree with the person above...the first time I went, I took my puppy for just a routine check-up. She checked out fine but Dr Gill tried to get me to give her unneccessary tests and such. I saw Dr. Laura Stadtmore at the Colony Veterinary Clinic with my 2 kitties. The clinic is very clean, the assistants are friendly, patient and very helpful.
Dr. Laura Stadtmore was great. She took a lot of time to answer all questions, was very good and careful in handling my kitties and very knowledgeable. I can highly recommend this clinic.
Dr. Guajardo, Colina Vet Hospital is a caring, dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian. He took the time and explained the health issues of our dog in terms that we could understand. Our dog is typically very stressed after visits to the Veterinarian, however, with our visit to Dr. Guajardo, this behavior did not occur after her visit.

Horrible
I took my cat there to have him nuetered. He left fine but a day later he started to act lethargic and didn't want to eat or drink. I took him back the next morning (where I was "scolded" by the lady and the front desk for not making an appointment) and the vet said that it had nothing to do with his surgery, that it must have been a dormant sickness that appeared coincidentially soon after....
I had to take my puppy here when he got hit by a car. His leg was broken, but luckily that was all. They staff was so great, they did not charge me for a bunch of un needed tests. They put him in a puppy cast, and gave us some puppy pain pills. The care my dog received was exceptional, and I recommend them highly.

with my dog being one of our family, we felt he needed to have care as good as we would want for a family member. While I felt that it was a little pricey for what we needed done, I was very happy with the treatment my furry friend received.
They took very good care of my cat when he had skin problems and bad teeth. Reasonably priced as well. Will go back to take my pet there when needed again.
Their boarding facility is less than sanitary and their staff is rude and unprofesstional. the "manager" in the shop appeared hungover or sick and was rude when asked routine boarding questions. i will not be taking my cat there again.
I have been taking all my animals to this hospital for over ten years and have always gotten excellent care. They have evening appointments and the front desk and veterinarians are all great. Any time I have any problems with my pet they have been very helpful and they always give me an estimate so that I know just how much things are going to cost before any treatment is performed....

Recently I have heard so many complaints about this place including stories from a former employee. Sadly I took a cat there to be spayed a few years back and they did a hack job on her.. she had the biggest spay scar I've ever seen and she was bleeding badly. I had to take her back to be re-stitched the same day. Cat did not pull stitches out as she was still heavily sedated.

There are no stairs to climb it has easy access for you and your pets. The Clinic is professional and caring where you and your pet will be taken care of. There are three Vet Drs. on staff, a Dr....
I brought both my cats in after 4+ years of no care, and Dr. Jordan and her staff were absolutely wonderful. They took their time, answered my questions and followed up via phone. I recommend them for cat care to everyone!

Bad Service
I agree with the first review. Any questions are deferred to someone else and you never get an answer. None of the staff really seem to know anything and the vets simply make an appearance and then hang out in the back room. You leave feeling unsatisfied and wondering what was done to your pet.
My doggies have been patients of this office since 2002 and have been very satisfied with the attention given. They have such a caring staff and have always been responsive to my questions. I would recommend all my family and friends.
