I came here for hookah with a friend a few days ago, and I was really impressed with the service at this place. They are very kind and welcoming, and are always coming by to see if you need anything, especially during the day when it is not very busy. I really like smoking out in the patio area. They do really cool fruit bowls for their hookahs, and if you ask during a non-busy time they will teach you how to make your own bowls. Sometimes they are a little late on the coals, but their service makes up for it. I can't really recommend the food here though, since it made me feel really sick for two days when combined with the hookah. It is cheaper if you go at lunchtime.

Daphne's, Eastlake
I am really glad that there is a Greek place in Eastlake, since I am a huge fan of Greek food. To be honest, I could make a good meal out of their warm pita bread, cucumbers, tzatziki sauce, and delicious rice. Other good dishes include their gyros, falafel, and chicken and beef skewers, which go well with the rest of the side dishes. The interior decoration is really nice - I really like the mural with the Greek goddess on it, and when you go outside to the patio, you can eat your food by a very nice fireplace.

Bento & Noodles, Eastlake
Their chicken teryaki bowl is perhaps the best lunch deal in all of Eastlake. For around five bucks you get a huge bowl of teryaki chicken, steamed vegetables, and rice. This used to be one of my favorite take out dishes to eat, because the chicken always tasted very good and it went super well with the vegetables and rice. Now that I don't eat meat I've started eating their vegetarian tempura meal, which is around eleven bucks, but really is like two meals in one if you order it to go. It lasted me around three days, and had very delicious sushi and tempura.

This is not a favorite yogurt place of mine. I only go here when I'm not the one choosing where to go. I really don't like that all the toppings and flavors are behind the counter. It seems to be an outdated way of thinking about frozen yogurt shops. Also, their yogurt is nowhere nearly as tart as other yogurt shops I've been to, and it is way too sweet for my taste. I usually feel really sugar-shocked after eating Golden Spoon, especially if I've had toppings with my yogurt. I highly suggest going to other yogurt shops in the area. Except, in the fall, their pumpkin yogurt is pretty good and I don't think other area shops have pumpkin yogurt.

P.F. Changs, Otay Ranch
I have come here on several occasions with family and house guests, and it seems to be a pretty reliable sit-down "pan-Asian" chain restaurant. Favorite dishes of mine from the past include the Chengdu spiced lamb, the orange chicken, and their fried banana with ice cream dessert. They also have a very good spicy soup, I forget what it is called, and "Buddha's feast" is a very good vegetarian option. Their lettuce wraps are also good, especially for someone on a low-carb diet, but they are not vegetarian. It is a fairly short wait to be seated and service has been very friendly whenever I have gone.
