I mean, what can I say, its a cab company... every time I have used them they have had good service (nice drivers), felt safe, got us to our destination. All you can ask for!
Let's not pretend for one second that this place isn't expensive... it definitely is! However, that said it is worth the price if you can afford it. Of course their fish plates are great, but my favorite thing are the crab cakes! They are giant lumps of crab with little breading. Absolutely fantastic.
There is a reason why the San Diego Zoo is known as one of the best Zoo's in the country. The way the Zoo is laid out allows the animals to have more room in their enclosures so it doesn't seem as "zoo- in a cage" ish. They have a good variety of animals and a lot of staff on hand to help you find your way, as well as good signage. (the place is huge so you can get lost if not) Go straight to the Panda exhibit first if that is what you are interested in since the line can get pretty long. I am 50/50 as to whether seeing the Panda's is worth the wait if you have seen them before other places, but if you have never seen them I would do so. I also recommend the koala exhibit. You feel really close to the animals like you can reach out and touch them! Very cute! The zoo has a lot of walking ground so if you have people that are not big on walking I would do the bus tour. Also, they provide good information on the bus tour you might not get otherwise.
We had my roommate's birthday here and the scene was great. Not too hipster, too downtown snob, just a fun eclectic mix. Everything about it has a funky cool feel, even getting in! (I wont give up the secret, but lets just say you are on camera and have an audience. ) Have to agree with other posters that the drinks are pricy, but for the most part worth it.
