Fabulous hair for any occasion!
This concept was new to me, no cuts, no color, just blow-outs. Meaning wash & style your hair for flat fee ($35 any length hair!). Having tried it now I'm sold on it. My hair was fabulous for three days! I had so many compliments I can see how this can be habit forming.
Upon arrival you are presented with a menu book of styles to choose from. Many are same hair styles you see on celebrities. You can choose sophisticated, romantic or beach chic looks. My daughter was thrilled to learn they have a children's menu too. I look forward to going back this holiday season.

Excellent New Thai Restaurant
I love Thai food and in San Diego we are fortunate to have many great restaurants to choose from. Recently I tried Koon Thai Kitchen and they really stand out. I started with the Papaya Salad and it was delicious. The Pad Thai is what I usually measure by and theirs was my favorite. I also love to order this dish at Saffron and Bangkok West and Koon's was more flavorful. My friends tried other dishes and there were rave reviews all around. Koon is off Convoy in Kearney Mesa and has parking out front. Worth a visit!

A natural and non-toxic option for nails
I was eager to try Bellemani after hearing treatments were non-toxic and salon boasts being fume free. It's easy to access on Girard Ave in La Jolla with parking out front. When you enter you'll notice the natural wood furnishings with green accents sets a relaxing tone. After check in and being seated for my mani/pedi I was asked if I would like water, tea, coffee or wine. When I picked my color I noticed they use non-toxic Essie and Butter London nail polish. I had my daughter with me and was happy to discover they have a Kids Mani/Pedi option & pricing too. You should also know they offer services that you normally have to make separate appointments for. This includes waxing, threading, hand/foot massage & scrubs. You can choose treatments a la carte or you can buy into packaged deal. Sarah our nail tech walked my daughter and I through each step and product to highlight what was natural and non-toxic. When you are in a salon for over an hour the absence of fumes made the biggest impression! We will definitely return.
